Mariah Carey Performs Never Heard Before Mashup Of Songs

Tonight at The Rise Up New York City! : The Robin Hood Relief Benefit hosted by Tina Fey, there were many outstanding performances and speakers like Jimmy Fallon, Idina Menzel, Ben Platt and more. Also included in the benefit was a performance by none other than Mariah Carey.

"New York, I know we're strong enough to get through this," says Carey before she sings her first note at the benefit, "We will rise again. We can do this together." With that came in the piano as Carey sang her first note. Carey sang a beautiful mashup of her songs Through the Rain and Make It Happen. Both seemingly fit together in a way you would never expect. Starting slowly with the chorus of Through the Rain, Carey turns up the tempo in the song to transition into the first verse of Make It Happen. Then after completely a good chunk of the song, continues back to Through the Rain.

The entire performance was incredible and seems to be the perfectly portray how we all feel during this pandemic. Watch Carey's entire performance above!
