The lack of sports during this time has been a mental drain on the sports-loving public, and a major kick in the crotch for sports books everywhere.
To get some money coming in, the bookmakers have had to result to taking bets on Aussie Rules football and lawn bowling. In addition, odds have been laid on eSports like professional “Call of Duty CS:Go,” “DOTA 2,” “League of Legends,” “NBA2K,” and “Overwatch.” Then, there’s NFL free agency betting on what teams select players will end up on, and even DraftKings fantasy contests for reality shows like “Shark Tank” and “Top Chef.”
