After delivering newspapers in New Jersey for almost a quarter century, Greg Dailey is now offering to bring more to his customers. He put a note in the papers on his route, telling people he could pick up groceries and necessities for anyone in need and bring them right to their door for free.
Customers immediately responded, some with requests for his new service, but others were offering to help him help. People wanted to send gas money or leave food, but most just wanted to tell him thank you. Now his wife, three kids, and mother-in-law are all pitching in to help the community.
“Times are tough. Some of us should not be out of the house at all,” Dailey said. “We are going to do everything we can to help people get through this.”
