What makes a restaurant one of the “best?” Is it the food? The service? The location? The Daily Meal set out to find the very best restaurants in America and to come up with their ranking, they looked at restaurants that have topped lists in previous years and reached out to hundreds of dining experts, including restaurant critics, chefs, restaurateurs, and food writers, across the country to get their input. Then they ranked the restaurants based on food, service, and beverage lists, as well as “those special things that elevate an experience, like imagination and consistency.”
They came up with a list of the top 101 restaurants in the U.S. and these are the top 10:
