NJ Governor Murphy Has Tumor On Kidney

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy has announced that he’s undergoing a procedure to have a tumor removed from his left kidney.

"The prognosis is very good and I’m profoundly grateful to my doctors for detecting the tumor early,” Murphy said in a statement.

A partial nephrectomy is scheduled for early March.

“Mary Pat and I wish .@GovMurphy and his entire family all the best as he undergoes treatment for cancer.All of NJ will be joining us in praying for your full recovery,” former Governor Chris Christie said on Twitter.
