Bronx Cops On Alert After Threat

Officers in the Bronx are being warned about a “credible threat” to target them, just days after two officers were injured in shootings.

The Sergeants Benevolent Association calls it an “assassination threat” and posted an internal memo on Twitter.

“Investigative units have received a credible threat of an individual that may attempt to shoot a NYPD MOS, in particular, a 41 pct MOS,” the memo reads.

The memo urges officers to be vigilant and alert.

The 41st precinct is where two officers were shot and injured last weekend in a pair of targeted attacks. Robert Williams is charged with those shootings.
