City Council Speaker Corey Johnson has announced an international design competition to “rethink” the Brooklyn Bridge walkway.
Johnson announced that he’s partnering with the Van Alen Institute. The submission portal is now open, with proposals accepted until April 5th.
“We can't wait to see what you come up with,” Johnson tweeted.
The finalists will be announced in early May with a winner declared in late July.
