Knicks Parting Ways With Team President Steve Mills

Team president Steve Mills fired after the sputtered to a 15-36 start—the third-worst mark in the Eastern Conference.

The 60-year-old Mills has been the Knicks' president since July 2017 and previously worked as their executive vice president since 2013. Before being promoted to president, Mills had also served as the team's GM since March 18, 2014. He originally joined the Knicks in 1999 as executive vice president of franchise operations.

Hey, at least he is consistent considering that—since Mills rejoined the Knicks in 2013, the franchise is about the same at 178-365—and that is the worst mark in the NBA over that span.

The team announced yesterday that GM Scott Perry will oversee the basketball operations in the interim.
