What would you do to make your dog happy?
Well, one Manhattan dog owner who went the extra mile to preserve their dog’s pee spot was forced to deal with the law. Back in November, Eric Swanson pulled apart a one-foot-high picket fence that surrounded a tree because it was his dog Scooby’s favorite place to do his business.
A spa had put up the fence to stop Scooby. Swanson was caught on surveillance and arrested, but this week he took a deal. As long as he stays out of troule for six months the charge of criminal mischief will be dismissed. As for that tree, the city has since chopped it down.
