Fifty-nine-year-old Valerie Jackson, an NYPD school-safety agent, was arrested yesterday for allegedly choking her 9-year-old grandniece during an argument.
Police reports indicate that Jackson and her 9-year-old grandniece were engaged in a verbal altercation in the suspect's Brooklyn home when the school-safety agent allegedly grabbed the child's throat.
According to an article published in the New York Post, Jackson was arrested and charged with strangulation, harassment and acting in a manner injurious to a child.
The child was not seriously injured.
