Soldier Arrested For Allegedly Shooting Assault Rifle In Brooklyn

An active member of the United States Army was arrested after he allegedly fired his AR-15 out the window of his apartment during a domestic altercation with his wife, according to an article published in the New York Post.

Harold Beard, a veteran of the Afghanistan and Iraq war, allegedly fired 29 rounds from his Army-issued assault rifle out the window of his apartment as he yelled: "My wife is cheating on me."

No one was injured in the shooting, but several rounds went through the front window of his neighbor's home.

Beard was released from police custody and turned over to U.S. Army officials.
