If you’re going to impersonate someone, paying attention to small details helps.
Todd Geiger is building a new home in Sarasota County, Florida, but contractors had to put liens on the home because Geiger isn’t paying them. Instead of working out a deal, Geiger donned a bulletproof vest, fake badge, and drove to a contractor’s home. Identifying himself as “the sheriff,” he spoke to neighbors who noticed something was wrong.
Geiger drove there in a Maserati with New Jersey plates. Needless to say, Geiger was tossed in jail.
