The City Council will vote on Tuesday to ban the sale of flavored e-cigarettes.
Lawmakers struck a deal on the measure last week and a committee approved the ban on Monday.Advocates say the measure will help prevent kids from getting hooked on vaping.
A recent study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that more than 1 in 4 high school students vape.
More than 40 people have died from vaping across the country, including two New Yorkers.
