Temperatures are set to plummet on Tuesday.
A snow alert has been issued for New York City and we’ll be in the 30’s by lunch time. Sanitation Commissioner Kathryn Garcia says you’ll see salt spreaders on the streets.
“We will likely salt ahead of the first flake,” Garcia said.
We’re expecting less than an inch of snow in the city and it could even melt immediately upon hitting the ground. But there is the chance for slushy roads on the drive home.
The freezing weather continues throughout the night. When you wake up tomorrow morning, temperatures will be in the 20’s.
