A 16-year-old girl has been injured after a shooting in Queens on Monday afternoon.
There was some kind of fight outside New Dawn Charter High School on 161st Street in Jamaica. Witnesses said at least two shots were fired and the teen was hit by a stray bullet.
She was not the intended target.
The shooting came a couple days after 14-year-old Aamir Griffin was killed while playing basketball in Queens.
Police are investigating whether the two shootings are connected.
