A wake is being held in Monroe on Thursday for fallen New York City police officer Brian Mulkeen.
He was killed early Sunday morning in the Bronx by friendly fire while struggling with a suspect. Mulkeen was shot twice by fellow officers, after Mulkeen said the suspect was reaching for a gun.
The suspect was also killed.
A funeral is scheduled for Friday morning at Sacred Heart Church in Monroe.
