Police in Union, New Jersey are not happy about someone spray painting a fake crosswalk across an intersection.
The fake lines were discovered at the intersection at about 8:25 a.m. yesterday morning, which was the first day of school for the town. The police are asking for the painter to please contact them about the crosswalk. They would like to know why they did it.
The department posted it on their Facebook page as well, calling it an act of criminal mischief. Police warned residents that the phony crosswalk should not be used because the intersection is “located on a curve with a grade making it UNSAFE to cross.”
No word on if the person has actually called the police.
