2 Dead, 3 Officers Injured In Irvington Shootout

Two people are dead and three police officers have been injured after a shootout in Irvington, New Jersey.

Cops responded to reports of shots fired on Myrtle Avenue when they encountered a man wearing body armor and carrying a rifle. Kaizen Crossen, 39, had already shot and killed a victim when he exchanged gunfire with officers.

Three cops were injured, including one who was shot in the leg. The suspect was shot and killed.

All three officers are expected to survive.

No word on what sparked the shooting.
