Gov. Cuomo Gets Good News, Bad News In Latest Poll

Governor Andrew Cuomo received good news and bad news in a recent Siena College Poll. The good news 51% of New York State voters believe Cuomo has made the state a better place to live. The bad news, only 43% of New York State voters give him favorable marks.

Siena College pollster Steven Greenberg told the New York Daily News, "Since June, Cuomo's favorability rating has dropped double digits with democrats, Republicans, independents, and voters from every region of the state.

In New York City Governor Cuomo received a positive rating from 56% of the residents but his upstate and suburban voters drop by over 20%.

When the poll is broken down along party lines Cuomo gets a 71% approval rating from Democratic voters. But Republicans give the governor a dismal 19% as an approval rating.

Cuomo is serving his third term as Governor of New York State.
