A driver in Brooklyn has received a summons, despite their best effort to use the HOV lane.
The NYPD’s Highway unit posted a picture on Twitter showing a dummy dressed up and buckled into a seat belt in the back seat. It was wearing an orange sweat shirt, pants, a baseball cap and sunglasses.
“A motorist was stopped and issued a summons by @NYPDHighway Unit #2 Police Officer Gatto for driving in the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) Lane in #Brooklyn with a homemade dummy in the backseat.#NYPD,” the NYPD tweeted.
