A 10-year-old from Washington Heights, New York is being praised for gifting another little boy with unexpected surprise.
Emmanuel Guzman shared the story on The ‘Gram about his son, Ethan, who noticed another kid playing basketball in his bare feet. “So Ethan asked him why he was playing without shoes?” Emmanuel wrote. After the boy explained he just moved from the Dominican Republic and that he’s always played in sandals or barefoot, Ethan responded in broken Spanish "not here."
Without hesitation, Ethan ran upstairs and grabbed a pair of his own new sneakers and some socks to give to the boy. “The response was priceless, he ran upstairs full of joy to show his mother,” Emmanuel wrote. “Love is love.”
