Traffic was brought to a standstill in Midtown Manhattan after a crane malfunctioned near Penn Station.
Around 10:30 p.m. on Monday night, the hydraulic system on the crane failed, resulting in it coming down on West 34th Street and Seventh Avenue. The crane operator suffered a minor injury to his foot.
Traffic was shut down in the area as a result with problems continuing on Tuesday morning.
