A gray seal pup is back in the water after being rescued from a driveway in East Hampton, New York.
Curious as babies are, the one-to-two month-old critter was found over the weekend, about a half-mile from the ocean. The pup was a little thin but looks ok.
The Riverhead Foundation for Marine Research and Preservation responded to the home, gave the animal a check-up and then brought it to another East Hampton beach and released it. The foundation says it's not uncommon for seals that age to be away from their mothers.
