Winter Storm Heads To The East Coast For The Weekend

A huge winter storm is expected to dump snow from Denver to New York City.

Forecasters say the wintry precipitation won't let up until Sunday at the earliest. The storm is bearing down on more than 20-million people and it's heavy enough to snarl traffic on the roads and in the air. Some regions will see ice or a mix of precipitation.

St. Louis is expected to get the heaviest snowfall, up to eight inches. Other cities in the storm's path include Kansas City, Indianapolis, Louisville, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Washington and Baltimore. Some areas will be dealing with the event for 48 hours.

In the deep South there won’t be snow, but cold rain.
