While a lot of us like to ring in the New Year from the comfort of our couch, plenty of people would rather be traveling as New Year’s Eve approaches, and a new report reveals where all those travelers are going.
Online travel agent Agoda has just come out with their list of the top New Years Eve travel destinations, and for travelers all over the world, New York is the top North American destination. Of course, that is completely understandable, considering people want to see the ball drop in Times Square, but it seems folks in the United States are a little less excited about that. When it comes to U.S. travelers alone, the top NYE travel destination is Las Vegas, the third year in a row Sin City has topped the list.
When it comes to destinations outside the U.S., Paris is tops for folks traveling to Europe, followed by London, while Tokyo is the top destination in Asia, followed by Bangkok.
