Fourteen people were arrested over the weekend in Hoboken as a SantaCon celebration got out of control.
Four police officers needed medical treatment because of the craziness. One was punched in the jaw, a second suffered a dislocated thumb and a two others had to be decontaminated after they got blood on them because of a fight.
“Proud to say, all 4 officers treated, came back to work after treatment & completed their shifts,” Police Chief Ken Ferrante said.
Two of the arrests were for aggravated assaults on police. There was also an alleged sexual offense.
