Amtrak Train Stuck for 6 Hours in Queens

It was a rough commute for some people returning home from the long Thanksgiving weekend.

An Amtrak train traveling from New York City to Boston got stuck in Queens on Sunday, leaving passengers stranded for six hours.  Amtrak blamed problems with overhead wires.

Amtrak said passengers were provided with food and water.  However, for part of the trip, riders said the toilets weren’t working properly.

The train finally arrived in Boston on Sunday night.
