An empty plastic tube is to blame for a gas station evacuation in New York.
Onondaga County deputies say an object was discovered earlier this week at a Pilot Truck Stop and the entire area was evacuated. Someone saw the object and called 911. Roads were closed and everyone at the local business was forced to leave.
It turned out that the object was an empty plastic tube that a motorist threw out when cleaning his car. Police say the man left the tube behind because he couldn't fit it into a trash can.
