Angry Grandfather Arrested After Stabbing ACS Worker Twice

An Administration for Children's Services case worker was assaulted with a knife during a routine home visit in Sunset Park Brooklyn.

The ACS worker found that the children were in good health but thought they were lacking in hygienic care so she offered suggestions to the family on how to properly keep the children clean.

Quanyl Feng the 61-year-old patriarch of the family took the advice as an insult and attacked the ACS worker with a kitchen knife.

Police sources told the New York Post that according to the victim the children's grandfather started screaming and grabbed a knife off the kitchen table as he jumped from his chair and stabbed the woman as she tried to run from the house.

When police arrived at the home they found the victim had suffered stab wounds to her back and torso. 

After EMT's stabilized the woman she was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn with non-life-threatening injuries.

The 61-year-old grandfather was arrested and is being held until a bail agreement can be reached.
