A new survey by SmartAsset has ranked the most charitable counties in New York City. The study measured how much people donate as a percentage of their net income, and the proportion of people in a given county who made charitable donations.

According to the Internal Revenue Service Americans donated about $200 million dollars to non-profit organizations last year. New York State was also ranked the 15th most charitable state in the country in 2017.

Here are the 10 most charitable counties in New York.

1. New York, or Manhattan

2. Rockland

3. Nassau

4. Westchester

5. Putnam

6. Suffolk

7. Richmond, or Staten Island

8. Saratoga

9. Orange

10. Dutchess
