Thanks to New York City's Health Department some restaurants in Manhattan were closed down on October 26th due to unsanitary conditions, food being cooked at the wrong temperature, vermin, plumbing issues, and more.

Inspectors go every year to over 24,000 restaurants in the city to make sure we are eating in sanitary restaurants. Scores above 28 will earn eateries a C grade and a close to being closed by the Health Department.
