A Bronx bodega owner shot and killed a man who attempted to rob his store.
The suspect entered the J Supermarket on Morrison Avenue on Sunday night and allegedly tried to rob the store. A struggle ensued and the owner pulled out a gun and shot the would-be robber.
The suspect, identified as Daniel Meeks, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The owner was questioned by police and released. He will not be charged.
