Storms Cause Damage Throughout Tri-State Area

People throughout the tri-state will be assessing the damage on Wednesday, after powerful storms moved through the area overnight.

Westchester County may have been hit the worst.  Downed trees and flooding caused numerous roads to be closed and 2,500 people were without power on Tuesday night.  Officials will also be on the ground in New Castle to determine whether a tornado touched down.

The storm also caused disruptions on Metro North.

There were also flooding issues and downed trees in New Jersey and on Long Island.
