Three people were struck by lightning in Queens as powerful thunderstorms tore through the area.
There was a soccer game going on at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park when two men were hit. A 30-year-old man suffered burns to his body and is listed in critical condition at Jacobi Medical Center.
A 42-year-old man was also struck and is at Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition.
In a separate incident, lightning hit a man at Baisley Boulevard in South Jamaica. He is expected to be okay.
