$1.6 Million Recovered After Botched Robbery

Aviril Riguerson was arrested Tuesday morning when he reported to his job at GardaWorld armored car services in Queens after employees discovered that a bag containing $1.6 million dollars was missing from the previous night's inventory.

GardaWorld' s loss prevention department conducted a quick review of the facilities video surveillance system and spotted Riguerson leaving the building with a package that closely resembled the missing bag of money.

Riguerson, who was employed at GardaWorld as a yard lot attendant was filmed loading the money in his car and driving off at approximately 10:00 pm.

According to police reports after Riguerson left work, he hopped in his car and drove the sack of loot to a relative's house in Philadelphia for safe keeping.

According to an article published in the New York Post, the missing money was recovered in Philadelphia and charges against Riguerson and his Philadelphia accomplices have not been determined.
