Three people were killed on Long Island when two cars crashed in Amityville.
Alex Demetrius, 27, was driving a BMW on Oak Street early Sunday morning when he struck a Toyota Corolla. Demetrius was killed, along with the two people in the Toyota, Joseph Cloonan and his son John.
All three were pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash closed down part of Oak Street near Bayview Avenue for several hours.
