The Mets were down to their final out in the ninth, trailing by a run, when newly acquired Jose Bautista drove in the tying run to force extra innings. The Mets bullpen couldn't hold it in the 10th, Robert Gsellman who survived the bottom of the ninth, thanks to some questionable base running by Travis Shaw of the Brewers, got the first two outs of the 10th with a base runner sandwiched in. Jerry Blevins came on and gave up a double and the Brewers had runners at the corners with two out. AJ Ramos came in and walked the only two batters he faced, the second being Travis Shaw who had the blunder in the 9th, and the Mets fell 4-3. Noah Syndergaard didn't factor in the decision and finished with 8 strikeouts in 6 innings while giving up three runs. The Mets will be back in action Saturday afternoon as they face the Brewers in game 3 of the 4 game series, Mets on Deck at 3:50, First pitch, 4:10. (Thumbnail Credit: Getty Images)
