After being moved out of the rotation and into the bullpen, Matt Harvey has now been moved off the New York Mets roster. Harvey was designated for assignment by the team on Friday after refusing a minor league assignment.
Harvey pitched six seasons for the Mets, with highlights including starting the 2013 All-Star Game at Citi Field and helping the Mets to the 2015 World Series. He was 34-37 with a 3.66 ERA over six seasons in Flushing.
