Mets once again showed they respond when the other team strikes. Todd Frazier hit a pair of home runs, and Yoenis Cespedes showed off his stellar arm as the Mets won their 9th in a row and are now a Major League leading 11-1.
Steven Matz got the start and got through the 5 1/3 innings of three run ball and left with the lead. The Bullpen wasn’t lights out, but once again did their job on a very summer like evening in Flushing.
