Mets Players Make the Most of Snow Day at Citi Field

The New York Mets players didn't all spend their snow day at home.

Many showed up to the ballpark in the morning to get their workouts in.

Pitcher A.J. Ramos, infielder Phil Evans and catchers Kevin Plawecki and Travis d'Arnaud spent their morning at the ballpark doing some team-building...and also snow man-building.

Ramos kindly introduced fans via to Salty the Snowman via a video uploaded to team social media accounts.

Then via a boomerang clip, they "seasoned" Salty with pepper via the team's newest pepper shaker celebration.

While the players seemed to have a good time with Salty the Snowman, it didn't last long. Presumably the frosty mascot was standing in the way of the Citi Field grounds crew, which has been trying like hell to keep the field dry so some baseball can happen in Queens this week.

Check out the photos and video below!

And #RIPSalty.
