More Snow Expected for NYC

Snow will fall again on New York City and the tri-state area on Monday night and Tuesday.

A mix of clouds and sun will give way to rain and snow at night, changing over to all snow overnight.  Snow will continue through Tuesday, with 1-to-3 inches expected in New York City and most of the tri-state area.  The eastern end of Long Island could get more.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 8 p.m. on Monday until noon on Tuesday.

This is the third nor’easter in the last two weeks.  However, it won’t be nearly as problematic as the storm last week.  That storm dumped more than 20 inches of snow in places like northern New Jersey.  It also led to hundreds of thousands of power outages.
