Collaborative Effort Halts Drug Ring

A collaborative effort involving the DEA, Homeland Security, The NYPD, and NY State Police has led to the arrest of 11 suspected opioid traffickers.

The suspects allegedly distributed heroin and fentanyl throughout the 5 boroughs and parts of New Jersey.

Eight of the 11 people arrested were to be arraigned this afternoon in Manhattan Federal Court.

All four agencies involved in the arrests have yet to release any specifics on the investigation.
