Over the weekend a trio of friends decided to throw back a few cold ones and celebrate their days off.
The revelry accelerated into a free for all that included the NYPD, the FDNY, an assault, and an impalement.
Neighbors say 3 men out on a Harlem patio began arguing about who was making the most noise. Two of the drunken men decided it was the third man causing the lion's share of the disturbance.
The third man decided to leave before the police were called. To hasten his escape the man climbed over the railing, slipped and fell on the metal fence two stories below.
The police were called to the scene and found the third man hanging from the fence with a metal spike driven through his thigh.
While the FDNY cut through the metal fence to free the speared man, the cops went upstairs to take a statement from the other drunks.
While writing the report the two drunks began fighting and before the police could break up them up one of the drunks bashed a bottle over the other drunks head.
All 3 men were arrested for public drunkenness and transported to a local hospital to have their wounds treated.
