It could be a rough commute on Monday morning, as another round of repairs gets underway at Penn Station.
This will result in canceled and re-routed NJ Transit and Long Island Rail Road trains. Repairs will continue until May, but will be less extensive than those performed during the so-called “Summer of Hell.”
Repairs were ordered after a series of problems in early 2017.
There could also be weather-related delays on Monday. The LIRR also could experience problems because of a broken rail in East New York on Sunday night.
