An allegedly intoxicated man fell into the path of an oncoming subway train early Sunday morning and survived the incident.
Witnesses say they saw a man who had been stumbling along the 33rd street platform suddenly disappear from view.As the train conductor applied the emergency brake the victim was seen trying to pull himself back up onto the platform. When the train hit the man he disappeared from view again.
Miraculously, the man lived through the harrowing experience; however, he did suffer a shattered pelvis and injuries to his legs, torso, and head.
The man is convalescing in Bellevue Hospital
