Two men in their mid-50's are the first reported fatalities to be linked to Winter Storm Grayson. The men died from cardiac events while they were shoveling and snow blowing their properties.
Both men were residents of Suffolk County, which was reportedly pounded with nearly 16 inches of snow.
The entire Tri-State area was blasted by high winds, snow, and freezing temperatures for the better part of Thursday.
Near record low temperatures are expected over the weekend.
