Anthony Savino started 2018 on a sour note after getting arrested for racking up over 24 grand in unpaid tolls and fines.
The Staten Island man was caught by the Port Authority PD a few days after Christmas trying to cross the George Washington Bridge for the 343rd time without paying his fair share.
The alleged scam began in 2012 when Savino took a job at the Bergen County Utilities Authority while living in S.I., which also happens to be illegal.
Prosecutors in Bergen County say that Savino obtained a New Jersey driver's license with a fake address so he and his family could get medical insurance.
Mr. Savino faces charges of insurance fraud, falsifying records, and failing to pay his tolls.
