It was a messy commute on Thursday morning, as a layer of snow fell on New York City and the surrounding suburbs.
Snow showers will be scattered throughout the morning before sunshine moves in later on Thursday. The end result could be an inch of snow or slightly more.
The snow has been sticking to the roads since it began falling overnight. That means roads could be slick for drivers.
Temperatures will be in the mid 30’s on Thursday.
