The World Famous Harlem Globetrotters have signed a Harlem Hoop Star to the team. Jahmani Swanson aka "Mini Michael Jordan" who stands only 4- foot 5 inches tall is the shortest player ever signed to a full time deal by the Globetrotters.
Swanson, who grew up in the Douglass Houses said his parents gave him a basketball as a baby and he's never put it down.
When Swanson first tried out for the Globetrotters in 2011 he didn't make the full-time roster. This year when the 32-year-old was invited to try out, some people thought he was too old to run the court with the much younger athletes.
Swanson squashed the doubters by getting signed.
Swanson said he never tires of playing basketball and he's ready to handle the team's difficult touring schedule.
