A 12-year-old Bronx girl sought refuge at Engine Company 52 after a man tried to snatch her up while she waited for an MTA bus last evening.
Once inside the firehouse the young girl told the firefighters that a man had attempted to lure her into his car.
The FDNY heroes tried to detain the man but he jumped the curb with his vehicle and crashed into a school bus to aid his escape.
One of the firefighters was able to get the vehicles license plate number and police tracked down the suspect.
Mr. Jeremy Goldberg was arrested at his Scarsdale home and charged with leaving the scene of a crime, reckless endangerment, and attempting to lure a child.
